
Holiday Tea and Plum Pudding at the Flavel House Museum

| $12.00Enjoy a relaxing afternoon with a cup of tea and traditional holiday plum pudding in the festively decorated historic Flavel House Museum.
Tea and Plum Pudding will be served the following Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 to 4:00. December 3rd, 4th, 10th, 11th, 17th, and 18th. Then, after Christmas, it will be served daily, 1:00-4:00, December 26th through the 30th. Special weekday servings can be arranged for groups of twelve or more.
Plum Pudding is a traditional Victorian Holiday treat. According to Victorian author, Satenig St. Marie, “Plum Pudding was believed to have magical powers including the ability to make peace. A husband and wife who had had a misunderstanding would be reconciled by the moral influence of the pudding while stirring it”.
Event Fee: Cost per person is $12.00, $10.00 per CCHS members, and includes fresh, warm plum pudding, a cup of tea, and a self-guided tour of the beautiful Flavel House Museum. Reservations are recommended for groups of twelve or more.
