The Clatsop County Historical Society’s TNT (Thursday Night Talks): A Tale of a Shipwreck.

Underwater Archaeologist and Public Historian Jerry Ostermiller will tell a tale about “a mystery shipwreck” discovered at the mouth of the Columbia River Bar. Jerry also will talk about underwater archaeologists, the art of their science, and what it is like to dive one of the most dangerous bodies of water on the entire West Coast of North and South America.

The Clatsop County Historical Society’s TNT lecture series is a free event at Fort George Brewery on the third Thursday of each month. Doors open at 6:00 pm, with lectures beginning at 7:00 pm. Seasonal beers on tap, food, and other beverages are available for purchase. Minors are welcome with an accompanying adult.
